In memory of Gian Paolo Barbieri

Three months after the passing of Gian Paolo Barbieri, we celebrate his extraordinary legacy with a screening of the documentary Gian Paolo Barbieri: the man and the beauty, at Ariosto Cinema in Milan, his city.

Gian Paolo Barbieri was a great artist and visionary who told a multiplicity of stories through his lens, immersing himself in the most fascinating worlds and the most emblematic faces of our time. Through never-before-seen images and testimonies from those who knew him, the documentary allows us to continue to remember not only the photographer, but also the man, his passion and his unique spirit.

The screening will be held during a special event with director Emiliano Scatarzi who will introduce the docufilm to remember and honor his memory, an opportunity to relive his vision of beauty that influenced entire generations. An opportunity also to reflect on the impact of his art and how he captured the essence of individuality through his light and how he revolutionized fashion photography by praising beauty in all its forms.
