Educational Visits – Cfp Bauer

Gian Paolo Barbieri Foundation meets the class of the Cataloging and Archiving course of the Bauer School of Photography.

The students, with Prof. Laura Losito, visited the Foundation to intensify their studies aimed at providing a complete panorama of photography and archiving methods. Through the artist’s archive, they came into direct contact with the technique and narrative, compositional and emotional sensitivity of Gian Paolo Barbieri. They got to know all the media that Gian Paolo Barbieri used during his artistic activity; negatives, positives, polaroids, vintage, notebooks and books have enriched their knowledge of digital and analogue photography and archiving methods regarding the protection, cataloging, acquisition and digitization of the various material it holds.
