Paul Smith – Fashion And Ethnographic photographs

From April 22nd to May 3rd, Paul Smith is delighted to host the first exhibition of the work of the famous photographer Gian Paolo Barbieri in London.
Exhibiting 14 of Barbieri’s most iconic photographs at Paul Smith Mayfair atelier. All photos are exclusive to Paul Smith including seven fashion images and seven of the “ethnic” archive of Barbieri.
“We are excited to exhibit the work of this fashion photographer who is divided into two parts. One of them shows her exquisite women’s photographs, above all the portrait of Angelica Houston in 1973 and Audrey Hepburn’s graphic photo. The second part of the show are the photographs of his “ethnic” archive showing sculptural portraits of men that includes one of my preferences showing two closely-knit hands that the power obscures from this photograph. “- Paul Smith, 2008
