29 Arts In Progress introduces “Gian Paolo Barbieri” on the occasion of MIA Milan Image Art Fair from the 11th to April 13th 2015 at the ‘The Mall’ – Porta Nuova Milano. A colorful fresco of the world of fashion and its dimension suspended among reality and imaginary.

29 Arts In Progress announces the next show of the Master of photography Gian Paolo Barbieri, considered one of the best international fashion photographers: the theatricality of its sets has made of Barbieri one of the Made In Italy favorite interpreters, from Valentino to Armani, from Missoni to Dolce & Gabbana.

On show, besides a candid of Jill Kennington that finds herself balanced on a molding on Port Sudan, with her shoulders facing a dromedary lifted on the air with a capstan. Smiling and ironic Audrey Hepburn, wrapped in dresses without time, Vivienne Westwood, up to movie celebrity Monica Bellucci and Jerry Hall.

With a sublime aesthetical taste, in time he moved in other directions, photographing the tropical heavens of Tahiti, Madagascar, Seychelles and Polynesia, places and distant realities succeeding with his impeccable taste in conjugating the spontaneity of its people to the wonder of the landscapes.

Gian Paolo Barbieri it will be on show in Milan within the 5th edition of Milan Image Art Fair. The first international fair of art devoted to photography and the moving image. With an exclusive selection of works that marked the history of the fashion, together with new and unpublished releases as “La Bella Otero”, here exposed for the first time to the public.

MIA Fair 2015 will be hosted at the new “The Mall”, complex of recent construction and a multifunctional space in Porta Nuova, in the heart of the Milanese Downtown.
