Flowers of My Life

The Italian photographer presents his new special project, in collaboration with Branislav Jankic, during Milan’s Fashion Week. An exhibition to remember a lost love presented among friends, designers and Milanese VIPs.

The emotional project. About a story that goes back 25 years ago. Flowers of my life, the show that fashion photographer Gian Paolo Barbieri inaugurated during Milan’s Fashion Week, reveals a chapter of his private life. In collaboration with artist Branislav Jankic, the photographer tells the love story with his lost companion Evar. A moving and intense journey where Barbieri presents symbolic photographs of flowers juxtaposed to shots taken of his beloved companion.

An exhibition attended by friends, designers and Milanese VIPs: Giuseppe Zanotti, Scott Schuman, Andrea Incontri, Simonetta Gianfelici … Together to celebrate the work (and heart) of a great master. In the evening an artistic performance took place, where the world of Barbieri’s dreams was narrated through Jankic’s poetry (and to complete this last experience Jankic made a short movie of the photographer’s work).
