Fondazione Gian Paolo Barbieri meets the class of the Masters in Contemporary Art Markets of  NABA New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan

Ten students of the Master in Contemporary Art Markets, accompanied by teacher Silvia Simoncelli – art historian and independent curator – visited the Gian Paolo Barbieri Foundation, meeting the photographer Gian Paolo Barbieri, to intensify their studies to provide effective tools to interpret the structures and dynamics of the art market, with particular attention to contemporary languages.

A journey that is played in direct contact with the art system through an exclusive access to the Artist’s archive, enriching their opinions on digital and analog photography, expanding their knowledge on archiving methods regarding protection, cataloging, acquisition and digitization of various archival material.
