Gian Paolo Barbieri will be in Photo London 2019 thanks to 29 ARTS IN PROGRESS gallery with a selection of vintage shoots of two ballet icons: Rudolf Nureyev and Maximiliano Guerra.

Movement understood not only as physical movement but also as becoming: as a body and mental evolution. Gian Paolo Barbieri immortalized moments of “exploration” of space, stopping time in line with the dancers, bringing out a language of symbols that the body guards and expresses in a continuous becoming of form and content.
