Educational Visits – Fashion Photography of Cfp Bauer

Gian Paolo Barbieri Foundation meets the Fashion Photography class of the Bauer School of Milan.

The students, with Prof. Camilla Sala, visited the Foundation to deepen their studies aimed at providing a complete overview of photography and archiving methods. Through the artist’s archive, they came into direct contact with the technique as well as the narrative, compositional, and emotional sensitivity of Gian Paolo Barbieri. They became familiar with all the media that Gian Paolo Barbieri used during his artistic career; negatives, positives, Polaroids, vintage materials, notebooks, and books enriched their knowledge of digital and analogue photography and archiving methods, including the protection, cataloging, acquisition, and digitization of the various materials it holds.
